Our President, Kenneth George Fewster has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia, as announced today, for his services to Cricket in Victoria.

ken hilton appointed the new vsdca secretary

The Executive Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Hilton as the Association's new Secretary to take over from Daryl Thiele following the Annual Meeting on August 13, 2008. Ken has been involved with the VSDCA for 18 seasons and has previously held the positions of Minute Secretary, Tribunal and Appeals Board Secretary and Registration Secretary. We wish him well in in his new role.

Daryl, who has been the Secretrery for the past 12 seasons, will not be lost to the Association as he has agreed to run the Under 15 "RM Hatch" Competition; no doubt he will also make himself available to offer advice and guidance to Ken and the Association.

After an incredible run that has culminated in two successive semi finals with narrow losses to the ultimate champions, Oakleigh Cricket Club seeks applications for a HATCH under 15 coach for season 2008/09.
